  1. Hello Adam, Coast Guard Netherlands right in the 80m amateurband? I wonder how that is possible? 73, Bas

  2. Hello Bas, I have been trying to catch this stn for years, but rather stupidly listening for their 0940UTC WX broadcast that I have still to hear. Joy of joys to hear the coastguard ID itself and give a weather broadcast! I've had a look in the RSGB call book and it seems we share this with other users, although radio amateurs are the primary users. It was strange hearing all these LSB stations tuning up each side of such an important uitility station.

Hope all goes well with your family and with the MP1!!!! 73 Adam

    1. Hello Adam, I know some utility stations do share the amateur radio bands. But I didn't know that the Netherlands did. All is well with the family. The MP-1 is still doing fine and made wonderous contacts with it (Japan, China with only 5W). 73, Bas
